It’s Friday and the 2013 NFL season has begun! So why not spice things up a little bit? As we head into the first NFL Sunday of the year I thought I would share with you some of my favorite game day appetizers via Pinterest. Now, I am all about healthy eating, but sometimes I just like to let loose, watch football and enjoy some good food. If you are looking to host any NFL or college football parties this year, be sure to check these out:

1. Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Okay, so this may not be the most healthy appetizer, but they sure are delicious! Not only are these tasty, but they are cheap and easy to make! If you don’t like smokies, you can use a variety of options such as chicken, dates or even water chestnuts. There are many different options to fit your personal taste!

2. Buffalo Chicken Dip

If you haven’t tried these, then you are missing out! This is one of my all-time favorite recipes from Pinterest. Not only will you love this for game day, but it is also a quick weeknight meal. You can make the chicken mixture ahead of time and just scoop and roll when you get home from work!

7. Pickle Wraps

Pickle wraps are easy, delicious and look pretty on a plate. Ps. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop! Enjoy!
