Let’s face it, being in a relationship usually costs money. You need money to buy your significant other gifts, to take him or her out on a date, to buy your future house together and maybe to start a family some day. Even though it’s one of those topics we tend to avoid, relationships really are impacted by your finances. As young adults, we don’t have that much to spare the way it is. This brings up that awkward question: When it comes to relationships, does money matter? And would you ever date someone in debt?
These questions are tough to answer and everyone will have their own opinion on the matter. In an age where people enter serious relationships with more financial baggage than ever, financial experts argue that money matters when it comes to love.
